on the qad rest, whats the difference in the hdx and the hoyt hdx?

the main difference is that the Hoyt HDX is designed to specifically fit against the riser eliminating the need for a set screw to lock it on the bow. the functionality of the 2 rests remain the same.

I use the regular HDX on my two Hoyts. Actually, every bow I have had since I can recall. I love them.

Interesting. I guess it's a matter of taste because I had a limb driven rest and I didn't care for it. That's just me though.

To each his own. Just like everything else in archery. I like them because my simple brain can have them perfectly timed with ease

In all seriousness, everyone has their own preference. I just don't like cable driven tests because of timing problems I have had in the past
