a couple weeks ago a guy asked me to build him a 4x6x6 blind frame. sure. I am off work but can still start it in about 2 weeks. I did. bought the steel. 1 1/2x 1 1/2 x 1/4 tube. cut it up, called him. well, he then came up with 3 excuse as why he now does not want it.

Happens all the time..... I usually just continue with the project and find another buyer. If I am asked for something custom, I ask for a small deposit (usually $100) just to make sure they're serious.

I learned long ago to always get a deposit even on friends.... fixes these issue's every time
