Now you're seeing how all this works. AT&T is still getting their money.

The prices fluctuate, promotional prices end. Customers change service, but stay under the AT&T umbrella. There are still plenty of folks who pay $230 a month and don't know any better. Those are the folks the company makes all the profits on.

I called Directv the other day because my billed goes up every year. They gave me a $35 credit per month for 12 mths. After the 12 mths, I will just need to call again and negotiate the price. They were really good about making it easy for once.

Did the exact same thing.

I have uverse, they will run up your bill. I think I started paying 150 a month, now I'm close to 250 with no changes in service or channels

You were prob signed up on a promo so just call them back and say lower my bill or im going to XYZ cable company they will give you a new promo or say cant help. Then you ask to speak with customer retention ... they will transfer you to them. Now you will get a new promo to lower you bill

Its supposed to save me close to $100/month!!!

I have directv and att for wireless. You can bundle w automatic payments and save 25 a month on your directv bill. I like the directv app on the att phones. You can watch directv from your phone. I drive cross country so it makes me feel more like a normal person being able to watch a tv show from my phone instead of all together missing them. I'm at 100 a month for phone and 88 a month for directv. That's w all the fees included
