My mom gave me a postal worker safari style hat. Looks ridiculous but it works really well too. Has great airflow. They're cheap too

American Hat Company Straw with a 4" brim. Buy a new one every year for dress and the dress goes to work.

I add a strip of fly paper around the band of mine, straw hat, to get all them dam# horse fly's. Works great. Hate them and deer fly's.
