    Skool me on Scooters/Mopeds

Sons a freshman at A&M, lives on campus and has been riding his bike from dorm to class etc. so far this year. Next year he will be living off campus and says he's looking at getting a scooter/moped (whatever they are called?). Its his money, but I dont know a thing about em, besides there are several different CC engines. Any of yall have any experience or suggestions on what/where to buy?

From a purely aesthetic point of view, get a Honda Ruckus. Or step into the 125cc motorcycle game and get a grom or a razkull.

What major is he in? I'm a current mechanical engineering sophomore at A&M.

If he gets one over 50cc, he will need his Class M endorsement. Scoots over by Old Navy can probably fix him up.

I rode a scooter around B/CS for a while. First and foremost, regardless of the size of scooter he gets, he needs to take the Motorcycle Safety Course. It will teach him avoidance maneuvers which he will need riding in that area.

They are kind of like fat chicks. Both are fun to ride until you get caught.

The rukus is cool but I been rocking a Honda metropolitan at the rodeo for years. My 2002 turned 15 with 4800 miles on it this year[emoji2]
