Well it's done. Went to mediation on Friday and it was total wreckage in my favor. Turns out I wasn't wanting anything above and beyond, in fact I was offering her the stars in the mediators eyes.

Gave her the house due to my kids, but kept child support very manageable, about half of what she was asking. She got to pay for her lawyer, and I got to pay for mine. No alimony of course. The mediator told her she was completely insane if my ex expected me to pay back child support for two years that I was paying her hundreds a month over what was the max amount according to my pay. Turns out I actually didn't have to pay her anything for the two years until she filed on me that we were split up. That one, the mediator said, almost made her hit the roof. I got to keep all my things and vehicles. The mediator told her she better take my deal before I decide to just go to court, because she still won't get back child support or anymore child support since the judge will base it on the previous year and he will also surely award me half the house. If she can't refinance the house and falls behind, I can come in and make the payments then own the house 100% also. The mediator even said she didn't see how I stayed married to her for so long lol.

So it worked out well for me. Got exactly what I offered her minus a couple hundred a month in child support for me. She also got a lawyer fee that was double mine since she got a high priced lawyer since she thought I was going to have to pay for it. Feels good to know I wasn't asking for even my fair share and was and still is being extremely generous. To bad she won't see it that way.
