    I would be following a bright red blood trail in that tall grass. Looks like an easy shot to me. I would even kill that other buck where hes standing. Probably around 25 yards or so.

      YEP. Shot a 9 at 18 yards through the front shoulder at the exact same angle as the picture and he didn't make it out of the pen.

                At 17 yards...17yards.... 17... from the ground? I'll kill that deer 100% of the time. if you can't make the shot then by all means wait... but I can, and will
