    Lake Fork Crappiefest April 1st!!!

    It's that time again!

Crappie Anglers of Texas is having it's annual Crappiefest on Lake Fork this Sat from 7am-1pm. You can register the evening before at the pavilion at the Minnow Bucket marina from 5-6Pm I believe and again the morning of up to 7am. It's a 1 fish tourney that pays 10 places and closest to 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, and 1.75 without going over and a few other weights. Lots of fun and prizes for the kiddo's too! Adult's entry is $50 and kids is free! Plus I think the bonus for a fish over 3lbs is $5k this year! First place last year was a 3.20 and was worth $9k if I remember correctly! Must be in the weight in line by 2pm at Lake Fork Trophy Bait and Tackle in Emory!

Heading to the camp Friday hopefully and get ready for the fun!!

Ya'll come see us! Boats, Kayaks, float tubes, and bank fishing welcome!

I got out there after the weigh-in and met up with some other CAT members. Good times for sure.

If I had a bigger more stable boat, and a better troller, I'd be in! The best to all who go.

Edit: Slew, be sure to post the results please.

He could probably do it!! He's beat me all 3 years in this tournament! Last year he only caught 1 fish but it was a 2.22!! If I bet him this year I might have em weight my fish twice so I can rub it in!!![emoji2]

About gametime!! Hit a few spots I didn't plan on fishing today and had some 1.5 and 1.75 fish. Nothing big. Story is a lake record was thrown back yesterday! Fish had him all shook up and weighted 1.7. Then he noticed it was on kilograms not pounds!![emoji33]

Maybe you just stick to driving the boat for Little Man.

2.93 won! 3lb bonus money will carry over till next year! I got clobbered today! Had some nice fish yesterday and thought today I might stick a good one! We had 30-40 keepers. No size. Langdon beat me again! He finished 2nd in the 10 and under and won tickets to Medieval Times. My tournament partner smoked big fish today after catching one last Sunday in the same area so looks like we're gonna step on the field with the big guns next weekend at Crappie Masters. Maybe we can put together something!
