What is the third one - big, egg-shaped? I have found those on my property.

When you find and hold Indian arrowheads...something very special.
              Nice finds, congrats.

Those are awesome! I wish I had access to property to search for artifacts like that. Was the dig a friend invite deal or are there places that let you come out and pay to play?

I advise against trying it once. I was a big time hunter in my day. Big bucks and lots of ducks was my motto. Now if you told me I had a choice between a 180 inch buck and a limit of greenheads verses a big blade like that, hands down the blade is my choice.

We drove 900 miles this weekend for two days wroth of hunting. Check out the birds we found in the next thread I post. One has yet to be identified.

You have 100% access. We paid to go to this dig site. They bring the dirt to your screening table as fast you can get it through the screen.

That's what I thought, can you post or PM some contact info?

I definitely feel a connection. I posted this Steiner on a forum and had three offers of $500 within minutes. I had to decline as this has nothing to do with money for me.

If your's are 3/4 inches thick and egg shaped like this one, then they are probably what are called preforms. That means they are an incomplete blank in a roughed form. It is part of the process on the way to being finished. These could also be used in trade.

I have a theory that not all Natived were point makers. I think some did it for a living. To even get way further out there on the limb of theory, I think it was the woman they made them. Pretty much woman were the laborers. Men hunted, ate, did man business and slept. Woman did the rest.

What the hell ever made the white man think he could improve on this system.
