Add us to the list
Well, I received a call from our landowner a few days ago stating they're going a different direction with their land.
So, that puts us on the list of folks looking for a lease.
My family has hunted in Gillespie county for nearly 70 years on only 3 ranches. Longevity is what we're all about. Some may ask why we never bought a place of our own? Well, just like everyone else, life's obligations get in the way and even the best laid plans sometimes just don't go as planned.
Anyhow, here we are finding ourselves in a position to find another place to hunt.
I've gotten a couple leads and made a couple phone calls on perspective possibilities, but wanting to cast a broader net to see what might be available.
Here's kinda what we're looking for:
Hill country area, Blanco, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Harper, Kerrville, etc
Family friendly
Water and electric is preferred. we've got a camper trailer, but a camp house would be great...
Bow and rifle preferred
Budget? Let's just say not looking at the higher end of the spectrum.
We are management minded and have our own blinds, protein and corn feeders.
We are farmers/ranchers with tractors and equipment to assist in ranch maintenance and projects.
Just looking for a place to take the family to pass on our long line of hunting heritage.
