Have no experience with CBE, but have had several HHA's. Liked them all. I broke an adjustment screw, really more my fault than the sight. Sent them an email, and they sent me a brand new sight and new set of tapes to sight it in... They have a lifetime guarantee. With the 4X lens on the Kingpin that i'm shooting now, at 30 yards, even 40, I can put my pin not only on the 2" spots on my target, but in any part of the 2" spot. It is amazing. If I was going to buy a new sight, it would be the HHA Kingpin with the dovetail mount.
Only HHA I would even consider is the Kingpin. I had 3 other HHA's and they all rattled. With the exception of the Kingpin the rest of em are limb line weights if you ask me. I'd go CBE over any HHA though.
I have had them all. I currently own both the HHA Kingping, and the CBE Tek Hybrid Pro. They are both very solid sights. I can tell you, you will not find a brighter pin with no light than the HHA....it has 5' of fiber with a rheostat. Both have good dials, on the CBE the yardage is on the inside of the sight, on the HHA the yardage is on the outside of the sight. This actually makes a difference if you like to dial your sight in or want to double check the yardage before you shoot and have a bunch of deer looking at you. Hope this helps.
Don't care for CBE fiber optic, they are exposed in the housing, and wrap around it he sight kind of exposed. But I like the size and weight.Have the king pin now, don't care for the rust. Even if the humidity is high all the bolts and nuts rust. It's kind of big and heavy also. I Do like how bright the pin is and the optic cable is protected.
I have the HHA Optimizer Lite and like it, but my next sight will be the HHA King Pin single pin. I can use single pin sights only, my wee brain gets confused with multi pin sights. Especially when hunting at night for da hogs.
