Finally Got on the Water!

I was finally able to break away and do some fishing! Went out to Colorado Bend State Park and caught a few whites. They were on early the stopped biting around 11-12. Nobody was catching females yet, should be up there soon, water is several feet higher than last year.

More people than I expected for a Tuesday but it wasn't packed at all. The days of the Bend being a well kept secret are a thing of the past, especially with the road being paved all the way.

Thanks for the info. I am usually off during middle of the week so figured it should not be to bad. Reason I asked is be cause I have a four day weekend coming up and was going to check it out but all of the camping looks to be booked I will go some other time for sure. Do you know if there are any smallies there!??
