Chief was recalled back to active duty today at 1300 hours. Chesty Puller needed another officer back on the line. And that motherfarking father of mine saddled up, squared his shiat away, and started dressing down the line. Cover and alignment you sorry sons of biathces.

It's tough to type this with tears in my eyes, but the world lost a little of it's luster today.

He is my father, my mentor, and most importantly my best friend.
