I don't know where you're at but up here that would explain why. He maybe found out he could easily get double that, heck maybe triple. 5 hunters on 700 acres for 2.5k per gun would go quick I would think. Maybe not to TBHers.

Not sure where you're at but that's a pretty sweet deal where we hunt (hill country). I would seriously reconsider your situation if I were you. Unless you're all tired of the place.

Yep depending on the area thats a really good deal! If I found 700 acres for that price I'd lease it for me personally with nobody else if it were in a area I liked.

We don't have water or electricity at my lease. Come to think about it, we don't have them at my dad's place either.
