His investing advice leaves a little to be desired, but all in all he's pretty sound.
The key takeaway I get is, saving is the most important part. 100% of the millionaires at retirement saved!

My income has been declining for several years. Last year was the worst. Most irritating part is that I should be in my peak earning years now. My only hope is my side business, thank God things have picked up the last couple of months. May be self employed here pretty quick. Of course that means I could be REALLY broke.....
I am pretty frugal but have 4 kids, I probably spend too much money on hunting but other than work and family, its the only thing I do.

I can't do it, wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I can't stand not having plenty of extra cash. The only thing I owe on is my home and working on that being paid off in the next few years.

We were driving around today and talking about this exact thing. You look at the houses in a lot of the newer subdivisions and wonder how there our enough people in our area to afford them. They're not giant houses, but 3-500K homes. The average household income in America just doesn't seem to support it.
