    Honda Civic ?

I've got a white 2001 Civic 2 door DX model with 5-speed manual transmission. Clutch is out & has 226K miles. 9 months ago had new water pump & timing belt replaced. It will get up to 40-42 mpg. What's the green screen opinion on its value as is?

It's value to me is no more than $700. That said, I don't need it. It may be worth more to someone else.

Neighbor just sold his commuter civic for 500 to a highschool kid. It was a 2001 in good condition.

Keep in mind this is "as is" with the clutch out. It's not worth fixing the clutch & then turning around & selling. I'm basing this on someone buying that can DIY replacing clutch. Other than the clutch it runs great & heck of a gas saver

I just sold a 2001 Civic EX with 162K miles to a guy who was working on my house for $500. 5th gear in the manual trans did not work, and there was another cam sensor issue which would render the car undrivable at any unknown given time. It has been sitting in my driveway for several years and I just wanted it gone. He caught me by surprise when he asked, and I just blurted out "$500 and get it out of my driveway". He snatched it up fast, so I am pretty sure I probably could have gotten twice what I did, but it is gone and I am happy about it!!!!!

2001 Honda vehicles (not just Civics) are notorious for transmission failure. That was one of the worst year models that Honda has made. They also had other problems. That being said, I think you could get $750-$900 out of it.
