I had mine done in December 2012 and still missed archery season 2013. Why? Because I pushed it trying not to miss archery 2013.

Every shoulder repair is unique. You will be ready when your doctor says you are. If you want to be ready in time for bow season dont do anything you arent supposed to. Rotator cuff muscles are very small(that is why we injure them so much to begin with) and it doesnt take much to mess up a repair. Standard time to 100% is 4-6 months. If you are young and healthy the 4 months is closer to normal. Once back to your bow, I suggest dropping the weight way down. I bought another bow that was 50-60 lbs and backed it all the way down. It hit the scale at 47 lbs and that is what I hunted with the first season. I killed 4 deer total with it including 2 really nice bucks. I had to get different arrows and got pass throughs on the does but not the bucks. Good luck!

                Yup
I had my Right repaired in 2011. Jacked it up during the Gulf War and milked as long as I could. Missed the 2011 Bow Season with a serious THREAT from my Doc. She ment it. Did not mess it up. Followed all instructions.

Actually....and the easiest way to remember....

Rifle is always the 1st Saturday in November.
Archery is always the 5th Saturday prior to the rifle opener.
