    Wild turkeys in Carrollton?

I just walked out back over here where I work and I saw a turkey, as industrial as the area is who would have thought that.

My wife was the manager of an apartment building in Irving Texas, and said a resident called the office saying she was trapped in her apartment by a giant bird outside her door that wouldn't let her get outside, my wife went over and took pic and texted me to ask what it was ...

Last spring I saw a young gobbler pecking around the buildings at Luna and Valwood.

I have a friend that has seen them in the colony and about 8 years ago I saw 2 Tom's over close to main street when the lake was down out on the lake bed. They took off running when they saw us

I'm a fire fighter in Carrollton at station 5 at 1805 Hutton by standrige stadium. That's interesting, I'll have to look harder if never seen one down in that area.

Haha I was at your station today on Hutton. Talking to the contractor that is putting up the burn building. Lots of birds around lake Lewisville. Saw 9 yesterday in hickory creek.

Why not. Spring before last I had one came right down the street in front of my house and flew up onto my neighbor's roof. A Rio Grand hen right in the big middle of big downtown Euless, Tx. It seems there are a drove of them over on Texas Star Golf course.
