I need the green screens help please.

I have a very close friend lives up north of the Weatherford whose husband a very good friend of mine passed away about 5 months ago. She is calling me telling me her hot water heater is going out and leaking all over the laundry room. She has sent me pictures. It appears to be a 40-gallon gas hot water tank, although I'm sure they are on propane. My question is do you have to convert a natural gas to propane for hot water heaters? Anyone know anywhere I can purchase a reasonably priced small hot water heater, as she will be moving out in June just needs something to keep her going till then. Since he has passed she is living on a very tight budget so I figure this will probably come out of my pocket. Anybody that can help with a good deal please let me know. I've been on here since about the Inception of the green screen and have seen many things happen that are remarkable when people pull together. This is the first time I've ever asked for help. If there's anybody that can help us out let me know thanks.

it will have to be converted.
gas water heaters are expensive due to new regulation on them concerning flame arrestors (what I was told).
maybe look on craigs list for a good used one.

Just look for a propane one instead of trying the convert one. I did a quick home depot search and stickerpatch 59 is right. They are expensive.

Just saw your post on Facebook. I checked around but didn't come up with anything. Nobody has anything used and defiantly nothing cheap.
Has she tried her homeowners insurance?

Good looking out for the widow. We have a friend that was widowed a few years back and I was kinda in your shoes. I'll be on the lookout, but I am only a cheerleader at this point. Best of luck!

Yes, they sell propane specific water heaters. About $550 for a new one.

Is the breaker box in the same room by chance? Probably be cheaper to replace with a electric one. Just a thought.
