My sister has a place up on Lake Travis. We sit on the porch every evening and feed grapes to a momma and her kids every year. Going on 3 years now. Can tell it's the same momma by one ear got tore up when she was little. Cool animals. Come right up to us.

I drive by there daily and if mom is home she runs about 20 yards into the brush and looks at me. If I don't stop she stays there. If I stop to look she takes off. May buy a few cheap weiners to start feeding them.

Here is a couple pics I took today about 5pm. Curious little dudes. I was sitting in my PU right by the den. Momma fox has changed dens twice. My country is mostly open and I can usually find the new den. I promise they are red fox.

I would put up a cam but if I get out and walk round she will probably move them again.

Cool pics. Love the pic of the little ones on the hay. We have a gray fox den somewhere on our place. I have seen the parents carrying rats etc while sitting in a blind hog hunting.

I bet yall have a few dens on that place. There was a tree stand near yalls camp area that a grey lived in. That was the first time I had ever seen a fox climb a tree like a squirrel. I saw him up there multiple times.

Start throwing out a few wieners and maybe she will stay put. They are little democrats and can't turn down the free stuff.

They can be real devastating to a lamb crop or kid goats, and quiet a bit larger than a gray. Definitely a target animal for state trappers. Fawns are on the menu also.
