One thing that I have learned from TBH is that not all snakes are bad, I have acctually seen quite a few this year and didn't disturb them...oh, but there was that one...he got disturbed real bad...

Yep, my Cajun Grandma called that a "chicken snake" and I like them because she would chase them with her broom, when she wasn't riding it, giving Grandpa and I a little relief over in Orange, Tx. The snakes hunted rats and mice that were after Grandma's chicken scratch.
