    Do Right???

Is Jerry Jones screwing Tony Romo?

I am not a Cowboys fan so I do not follow the team very much with that said I am a suffering Texan fan so all this Romo to the Texans talk has all us Texans fans on the edge of our seats.

The more I hear and read about the relationship that Jerry Jones has with Romo it appears Jones really supported Romo thru thick and thin. As a gesture of this strong relationship it was reported that Jerry told Romo that he would release him at the start of free agency so he could have all the time he needs to evaluate offers and make his own decision as to where he would play.

This seems to have come to a screeching halt and Jerry seems to have gone back on his word to Tony that he would "Do Right" by the former starter.

Is Jerry screwing Romo or was the "Do Right" just fake news?

I know football is a business first and I am sure ownership has gone on their word in the past but this seems to be another reason why Jerry Jones is not very well liked.

Just an observation from the sidelines.

I dont see it that way. NFL Players know what they signed up for when they signed those huge contracts. Romo is going to get paid no matter what.

It's a business and no one running a business wants to lose money, but then again sometimes there are losses for good reasons. Only Jerry has to live with his decisions.

Jerry already "did right" by paying Tony his contract according to the terms that both agreed upon.

Why would he want to be released??? Article I read said he has 14 million coming this year.

He can do right by trading him as well....Tony's top two choices are the top teams in the trade talks right now for his service.

But I agree. Look at Tony's bank account for evidence of Jerry doing right by Romo. Looks like $70-90 million of do right on several net worth listings..

Absolutely no evidence. What we all heard was Jerry was going to release Tony so he could pursue talks with other team on his terms. That has not happened however it might very soon.

we all know it is business first however it feels that Jerry says one thing and does another.

Dallas bought more time and more national media coverage.

Dallas will not be able to trade Romo.

                            He will be released.
