Some of you clowns will use any weak opportunity you think you might have to be smart azzes when it’s totally not necessary.. Very revealing..

as we all know, Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was their aqueduct system… surely some of these asylum seeking fellas walking across the border could get it built in no time and for a very reasonable price…

Well it's time for an update. We got the water cut off! Still leaking a little but it's manageable. Lots of damage is evident. The mold goes much deeper than we realized and all our neighbors are suing us. They have become dependent on the flooding.

Drying out will be hard and painful as we will likely have to totally discard stuff that was good before it got contaminated with mold.

Much of our structure will have to be stripped to the standards but our foundation is solid. We gonna build it back Great!

As a recovering alcoholic. Walking away from all those other sources has been the best for the recovery. Maybe once you understand the problem the fix is easy. You just have to make life style changes to reflect values.

You are so right sir. We have rehired the best plumber as Pedernal suggested. This time, he brought all his best people. I'm hopeful .

Oh Lord have mercy!! These people actually drive on our roads and are allowed to have GUNS!!! I don't think even Trump and DOGE can fix some things!!
Perfect example of "you can't fix stupid!"

This is right up there with Chew's elephant hunt!! Only Chew's hunt didn't last as long as this!! Gotta be some kind of record!

We got the best plumber back on the job. He knows what he is against this time. He's got a crew and all the tools to fix it. He done cut the water off whether the neighbors like it or not!

Now he is wringing the water out. It's not gonna be easy but we are planning to rebuild this house. If it's wet and moldy. It's gotta go!

I do remember the original post. It is amazing that you have excellent foresight. Sorry to read about your disaster. But as they say some plumbers are worth the weight in gold. I truly look forward to your progress here in a few months! Progress pics really do help those just sitting on the sidelines.
