Need a battery for my 2011 ranger crew and after doing some reading I've read odyssey this and that get dual odyssey batteries. My question is why what's so good about them? I don't have a problem spending the money on one or two of it made sense. I just don't want to spend the money if a $40 was mart battery will work.. I run a light bar, winch and road feeder..

I've read on line recently that a Nissan Altima battery will fit in a ranger- Barely. Might be worth checking out.
I also figured out my stereo and or winch was sucking down my battery power when not in use- I use a battery tender and when I would remove it to put it on a fourwheeler for a day or two then hook it back up- the tender would go into charge mode. Since I've unhooked the power source for those two the battery holds a charge.
The usual atv batteries were lasting me one year. The last upgraded battery (similar to odyssey but forgot which brand) has been going strong since August of 15.Comment

This is what I bought - needed some trimming to the plastic battery tray and t goes on its side - but has been a great battery.Comment

I just got a regular UTV battery from Atozone and it has worked fine for 3 years so far on a 2009 Ranger with light bars. I only run a single battery.Comment

Look into xs power their expensive but I have friends that run winches rock lights 4 10 inch tower speakers and 2 subs all off of them their the only thing we've found to last
