I though fertilizer was a by product of natural gas, not crude oil?

Not that we don't have an abundance of natural gas . .

Actually we are seeing our cost of fertilizer go down on the production side a little. The relationship between prices and oil is related to trucking more than anything. Our trucking prices have not move much either. Urea prices are related to natural gas and they are trending down. There has been some supply issues related to Potash that may be artificially keeping prices higher than expectations. Our prices have not come down across the board enough for us to change our pricing as well as the marketplace has not dictated us to change as well. You can call that price sticking if you want. I would. The production agriculture is in somewhat of a funk and that may be causing some price sticking as well. In addition some of the raw materials that come out of Israel have been difficult to get. Just my view from a buyer of fertilizer.

It has gone down for me. I think part of the slow drop may be a monopoly on potash if I got that right.

Part of it is that phosphorus has gotten very expensive. Supposedly the end is in sight for what is available to be mined.
