    Flags at half staff?

The search feature is blocked here at work, so I couldn't do a search. I noticed Friday on the way home that the flags were at half staff and still are. Why? I didn't hear anything over the weekend and nobody here at work knows either. Thanks.

Strikes me that a former distinguished member of the Supreme Court of Texas rates a more respectful reference. The governor figured he rated recognition across the state by the lowering of flags.

Definitely didn't mean it in a disrespectful way. Very much indifferent on the matter. My old reference was only pertaining to the fact that he was very, very old. 103.

Glad to know. Seemed out of character. He was indeed old.
