I pulled in a 45 pounder back in my youthful days and I thought that sucker was going to pull my arms off. That thing was probably like pulling a semi to the boat.

Buddy from here at work just got back last sunday from fishing with Dolphin Docks in Port Aransas. He caught one that went 83 lbs. He said it was a heck of a fight for a while.

About 10 years ago I caught one similar to that in Key West. Not sure on weight but he was 53 inches long. Fishing guide said they were rare for this size in this day and age. Very nice Fish!

Nice fish! There are some monsters off Texas and La. I chased one around a rig I'd guess 120lbs. Maybe it's best I didn't stick my shaft into it.
