Had really good Black Friday and stuck my largest buck to date!! Moved a panel blind late the night before and killed him the next afternoon on one of those 40 degree temperature swing days, cold in the morning and sweating in the evening. Wishing I was out there right now though with this cold snap.

In the stand in Hidalgo county, sat yesterday evening and saw 7 doe, no bucks behind any of them. Came to a different lease this morning, after the hunt gotta check cards and see what the action is like then go and check my hog trap.

I’m in Falfurrias and have some decent deer movement but only 1 decent buck. Does anyone around the Fal area know if the deer have rutted yet?

Just settled in...raining and messy!

If it stops raining, deer will be on the move. Had good movement this morning...
