LEO question: Towing two empty trailers.....

I have seen a lot of people pulling two goose neck cattle trailers behind each other.
They chain the lights together so they will work on both trailers. Never have seen two bumper pull trailers being pulled at the same time.

I've done it, and have never been stopped.

That doesn't mean anything, but I think it was legal when I did it

The key is to not get stopped.

Just do it and tell the state trooper that the braintrust on TBH said it was ok.

I'm pretty sure you can avoid length problems if you push one of them and pull the other because they measure distance from the back bumper,.........right?

Be careful of the weight capacities as you may need a commercial license.

2 16'ers will never approach load capacity as long as legel. Other than the 5th being 1st trailer which I cant find in any tx reg now. You need to make sure your ball hith on first trailer is strong enough to carry second trailer. Get all this capacities lined up and head south, s to speak.If it were me, I would leave an hou or 2 before daylight assuming lights work. DPS is all over the board on what they enforce. Big cities such as Houston not so much. Just my opinon, id hook it up and run it
