    Gibbons Creek

Ok, which of you gentlemen were at Gibbons Creek today fishing? I saw your truck at the ramp.

And when did you stop working on Fridays? Or is this another one of the 45 state holidays you get every year?

At least it was a good day to get out. A little breezy but still a good day.

I can hit the lake after work now. I only live like 20 minutes from it. Somerville is more like 40 minutes. Maybe 45. Beats the heck outta everything being an hour and a half or more from me! Once the house is finished I'll be able to leave all my gear in the boat so that will make it just that much quicker to get there.

It was windy. I whiffed today, but I still had a good time. I missed one on a Rat L Trap, but didn't put anything in the boat. This lake has changed a lot since last you saw it. There's not a lily pad to be found now.

Nice fish Bryan. They are both better than the ones I didn't catch today. Gives me some ideas. I was again on the wrong side. I did see some chasing bait, but I wasn't able to catch up to them.

Phil, I am going to buy a new truck. Old Red has about had it. I hadn't thought about leaving it hooked up to the boat. Hmmmm.

Thanks. Just dumb luck I think. Caught 1 on crank bait, one on spinner bait, and one on Texas rigged worm. All were shallow water...3 feet or less.
