Tree advice

I have two "big" oaks in our front yard that are great at providing shade, but now it is so much that it has choked off the grass and ornamentals in the front yard. It is also getti g to the point of nearly touching our house/neighbors house.

Now I am normally a DIY kinda guy and have thinned and cut the lower canopy for years, but I am getting out of my league here.

How many folks have a tree guy that trims and takes care of tree management year to year? How much does that normally cost? Reasonably?

I don't just want a hack, I can do my own hack job
