    Nope!

I thought we were watching the foreign film festival. Everyone was from some other country.

      The "so called oscars..."

      What a cluster @#$%...

I gave up on Hollyweird around the 2000 election blowback. Can't say the last time I've actually been to a movie theater. I did want to see Rogue One however but didn't make it...also the snacks are overpriced as well!

          By The Numbers....

          Moonlight: Worldwide Box Office $25,344,984
La La Land: Worldwide Box Office $368,960,065

"La La Land is the overwhelming favorite in virtually all categories in which it is expected to win. 89% of contest entrants expect it to win Best Picture, 93% give Damien Chazelle the nod for best director, 88% think Emma Stone will win best actress, and the film’s other wins come with similarly high expectations, going (from highest to lowest probability) 95% for Original Score, 85% for Cinematography, 85% for Production Design, 82% for Film Editing."

Everybody knew moonlight was a shoe in. A black gay man? After being called out last year about being a "white fest".

Sometimes we tend to over correct. I've not seen either movie. Most movies and actors anymore are just crap anyway. My wife had it on, loudly I might add, and the way those wipes use it as a platform to push the glbt and liberal garbage just aggravates me. Really wish we could bomb California back to the stone ages.

The Numbers is legit. It's apparently you may be more right than you know on your observation in the last part. Good catch.

I don't know if "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" won any oscars...but it's really a pretty **** good movie. On now.
