Best fishing kayak for lower back problems?

I want to get into kayak fishing, but am concerned with my lower back problems. Anyone out there already dealt with this situation?

I would say look at a kayak with a raised seat so you are not sitting directly on the kayak.
I have the ocean kayak big game 2 and love it!!! I can fish 10 hours without any discomfort. I have fished on a kayak that you sit directly on and did experience lower back pain.

Agreed with raised seat. I've had a herniated disc surgery and fish a ascend 128. I don't notice any discomfort.

If I was exclusively going to kayak fish I'd be looking at a feel free 12 or 13. Their seat is awesome. I'm also a boat owner so having a bunch of money tied up in a paddle boat that only gets fished 4 or 5 times a year is hard to justify

you can use the existing rod holder holes (or make your own just like you're going to install a rod holder) and use PVC to build a back rest/back support behind the seat.
