Notice all the corn gone between the 9 am pic and my next pic received after dark.

I'm assuming this is one of 213 pics on my SD card? And it was on zero when I put it in yesterday afternoon after formatting. I have received 10-12 pics since then. [emoji35]

I don't have a Code Black, but I think that 213 pictures is how many pictures are on the app for that camera, not how many is on the SD card. The corn is gone, so yes you're probably not getting all the pictures, but I don't think you've not gotten 200 pictures. Unless something changed with their app, I think the only way you can check sending efficiency is by pulling the SD card and comparing total number of pictures.

I think that is correct after a little research but the bottom line is I'm not getting the pics I should. This morning was more of the same. Feeder goes off at 6:30 no pics until 8 am and it had no deer or corn in the pic.. I had no issues at my BIL place with the short antenna for over a month so I'm leaning toward poor reception signal.. Either they changed something on the grid or my camera antenna is not as strong as Skinnys...

I'm considering taking off the booster antenna and trying the short antenna like Skinny did when his worked for 2-3 days down there without issue. I'm reading on Chasing game that the big antenna works for some and makes it worse for others. I need to be able to stay for a few days to monitor it and then decide to move it to another pen.

Mine are working great. Sorry to hear, not much help with low signal areas.

Since your not getting all your pics, I would assume it is going in and out of signal and not sending them all

What are your camera settings on the app? Trigger interval, trigger interval unit, burst, time lapse, max # of images, etc.?

I am thinking its probably my location or my camera is not as strong as Skinny's. It was flawless at my place here local with mediocre signal.

But I agree...since I bought this camera specifically for this blind..., the blind where I have killed my 4 best bow deer and kill most of my spring turkey in a field close to this, the novelty is quickly wearing off. Putting it at my other blind just won't be the same.

Just spoke with Covert at length. They stated that my camera is connected to the network and should be sending me pics. They suggested the booster antenna. When I told them it already had the booster antenna, they asked me to go get it and bring it home for some more troubleshooting then to send it in to their engineers if they can't get it resolved.

Yeah Jason just run on out there and grab it real quick then run it back out there once they tell you nothing is wrong with it so it can NOT send pics again.

Pretty sure we have told Mr. Smart that the cams seem to run best at 2-3 minute triggering interval. [emoji23]

Changed. I overlooked that after the default reset.

problem #1 you have your camera setup on realtime for remote control ... that setting will 1 eat your batteries and 2 constantly send data and try to connect to the cloud ... i would back that off ... mine is set to 4 hours ... this means if i make a setting change , it may take up to 4 hours for it to go into effect ... no big deal .. if i plan on going to the ranch , i can change it back to 30 minutes the day before and have quicker access ... that setting still has no effect on how it sends pictures ... mine still get sent promptly .. i have 40 to 60% signal level at all times ... the second thing to check is that your memory card has plenty of room ... the manual says , when the card is full it's first in first out so it deletes the oldest pic and replaces it with the newest ... however, at that time the camera will no longer send the pictures via cellular ... i assume it uses the flash card as temporary memory when sending ... this is also why they recommend high speed cards ..(speed 10). also note that when a pic is taken , if you don't have good signal or the other conditions listed above , it will not send your pics... so again , setting your remote control to 4 hours allow for pics to be sent more reliably then when trying to consistently check for settings ... my 2c .. hope it helps .. mine has been running flawless!

Hopefully that will help. I run mine at 1 minute when deer hunting and do miss some pictures. When I move the cameras to hog feeders, I run a 5-10 minute trigger and never miss a pic.

Another thing I would do is take it off real time commands once you get everything set. That may be an issue too if it is using signal strength to search for commands constantly.

I will only put mine on real time when I am there hunting so I can request pictures and change settings frequently. When I am gone, I switch it to an hour delay.
