    Quickest Game Camera ?

Who makes the quickest camera ? As far as wakeing up and taking the pic. I have the D40 and it seems to be slow when set up on a trail.

I have three of the buckeye cams, and boy do they work great. Pricey, but they are indeed the best on the market

Reconyx or a Buckeye are the quickest BY FAR!

This should help. After reading this I ordered the Scout Guard and LOVE IT!!

Cudde capture hands down, I have the scoutguard and capture and its neck and neck but capture is close to a millisecond. I dont like the IR night pictures as much as color. Capture is proving to be one sweet cam. But I like my scoutguard cause its still kicking on 8 aa's after 3 months. Either one is anawesome cam, u can one of each for the price of those high dollar reconyx/buckeye which I have no experience with but I bet they are sweet. Guess it depends on your funds.

Scoutguard has a 1sec to 1 1/2 sec trigger speed. I love mine and the sg is very battery friendly. It runs on 8 aa's or only 4 aa's , its your choice and Lithiums seem to last forever. Hows the cuddeback on batterys ?

Reconyx RapidFire RM45 IR....expensive but you get what you pay for with trail cameras.

I second that. I have the RC55 and that is one fast trigger.

The cudde batteries are not quite as good as the scoutguard, they last bout 2 months, but the picture quality is better, but I love both the sg and the cudde, they are mo goto when I need a trail monitored.

Dollar for Dollar, IMO, this is the best camera on the market. No doubt that Reconyx is the #1 TC, but you can buy 3 Scoutguards for the price of one reconyx.
I borrowed my brother's while in Ks and got over 200 pics compared to a dozen or so on my Moultrie.
The trigger speed on this little camera is very impressing. I know next year I will be buying 3 or 4 of these cameras, just by the savings of the batteries I use for my moultrie!!!

Most of my pics are within that 40-50' zone. Man that Scoutguard, for the price seems like the one to go with.

I have a Scoutguard and love it too. Great trigger speed and battery life. Same set of AA's for about 3 months.

I have 3 other older Moultries (2.1 and 3.1) and when I tested them they have a about a 20-25 second trigger speed. They take nice pictures, but I don't think they would work at all without a feeder or throw corn.
