Need an IR security camera for barn - mare foaling

Can anyone suggest a wireless and or wired camera with IR that I can use to monitor a mare about to foal using a smart phone.

The barn is about 200 ft. from my house and I don't think it would connect to my wireless router from there but occasionally my phone will. It could be something temporary and I could run network cat 5 line down to the barn on top of the ground.

It has to be something I can see on my iPhone when I am at work. I know there are lots of these on Amazon but wireless range is my problem and if someone has one that works I just rather go with one someone has tested and used.

I would like something I could buy off Amazon. I am not looking to install a complete security system.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Look up zmoto cameras. i have one running now. works great. $35 from amazon. they don't have a cloud storage option so basically its just a viewer but that would work for what you want. they will need to catch your wifi but i'd think you could use a wifi extender if you have power to the barn.

here is the one i have
    https://www.amazon.com/Zmodo-Outdoor...s=zmodo+camera

i saw a couple of the cameras they have that use power over ethernet if you want to go that route. i never saw a bad review about zmoto's camera quality

We use Vivint at the house and pay a monthly subscription. I can look at anything within view real time from the app on my phone. Audio, Night vision, whole deal. May look into it.

Keep an eye out for old baby monitors. Many have IR set ups and are wireless.

Buy this. Use the Cat-5. Download the Amcrest app to your iPhone for free. Setup could not be simpler. Love mine. Has micro-sd slot on the side for super high quality recording so you can be sure to capture the perfect moment.

Amcrest UltraHD Shield 2K Dual-Band WiFi Video Security IP Camera w/ Two-Way Audio, MicroSD Recording, Super Wide 140° Viewing Angle, Full HD 3MP(2304 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWK9VFS..._SORFYOhIzkXtC

This looks good. One thing I read on reviews with all these on Amazon is customer support and this one looks like it has good customer support.

                      Thanks for the suggestion.

Great CS. One phone call and you're talking to a guy in Houston.

Yes, they do. I have been on a chat with the guy and their website is very good and loaded with real information, setup videos etc. So many reviews of other systems hated the customer service these guys seem to get it.

Thanks Everyone. I ordered the Amcrest unit with 8 cameras so I can just run the BNC wires to the barn. The wireless was going to just be too iffy on connecting.

The Amcrest support is out of Houston and your product ships out of Houston and their support seems very good.

                              Thanks, Ranchdog
