    Badger Mount

Anyone got a badger mounted? Was fortunate to get one this weekend. Looking for a taxidermist that has done them before that does top notch work. Thanks

I was hunting the Callaghan this weekend and saw my first Badger ever. They are pretty cool critters!

I would be happy just to see one in the wild.

I'm building a pedestal for one that Comal Taxidermy in New Braunfels is doing right now. Don't have any pics just yet but it's going to be killing a rattle snake. They've got it mounted so as soon as I get the pedestal done they'll get it put on it. It's probably gonna be a couple weeks. Let me know if your still interested and I'll send you the pics.

I've only seen 4 in the wild. 3 in Texas and 1 in Africa.

Awesome critter, congrats! With how little people see them I wonder how those suckers manage to find mates.

I have shot 1, I have it mounted. Caught 3 others in snares, all in south Texas.

I read that the average lifespan of a badger is 9-10 years. It's hard tellin how old that one was but judging by the teeth on that thing it's been around the block a few times.

I have a badger skull and a tanned pelt. I don't know why I never have had one mounted. But they're a dime a dozen here too though. I've never really kept track but I'm sure I've killed well over 100 of them.
