I use Spotify myself. I've put enough time into a Playlist I never switched to Amazon when I got prime.

Had free Pandora and it was not very good. Now have free Spotify and it's way better but they took some songs I had off and there are others I want that they don't have. We have amazon prime and just now found out they have music.
I use it...it's pretty good...used to have Apple Music....Amazon's user interface is so much better and easier to navigate...pick a song and go...find a song in a commercial that's catchy...shazam it and then get it on Amazon...pretty cool
by the way, just because you have Amazon Prime, it's not free...16$ for family use, monthly...just like Apple Music subscription

Use it all the time. They have streaming playlists. But the coolest thing is that you can download full albums to your device for free. Prime has a large selection of music from lots of genres. Check it out.

That's not true. It is included with Amazon Prime:
"Prime Music is included with your Prime membership
Prime Music is a benefit of your Amazon Prime Membership, featuring a growing selection of 2 million songs, always ad-free and on-demand."
