We just got back last night, the 15 and 16 th the mature bucks were out and about, by the 17th i think they were locked down, about the only way we could see any mature bucks was just slow cruising around in the top drive hoping to come up on a hot bedded doe, we found a few but nothing really big, had one guy tag a 157 old ten point. The deer are not hitting the corn like they usually would, it is as green as a gourd down there. We are headed back jan 8, hope it is better then.
