    Business Time Keeping/Tracking Software

Looking to modernize our hand written time sheets and archaic job tracking system for our engineering/surveying firm. We have 24 employees and will need to also track specific equipment hours, third party expenses, etc.

Would like it to be network based operated on individual computers. Don't want an online or a subscription service. Would also like to be exportable to Quickbooks.

    Anyone have experience or recommendations?

try timeclock plus. They are a local company here in san angelo but do business all over the country. I used to sell for them years ago and at the time their system was entirely network based. they probably have some sort of cloud based system as an option now but their bread and butter was networked systems. They do interface with quickbooks. Call and talk to Butch Baker. I think he is a VP now but can get you with someone who will take care of you. Tell him Todd Cummings referred you( no I get nothing for this, Butch is a close personal friend).
Comprehensive Time & Attendance and Employee Scheduling software, time clocks, mobile solutions, & hundreds of integrations for payroll & ERP/HCM systems.

We use a program called Billquick at our engineering/surveying firm and it works well for us. We are just a tad larger with 31 employees.

I have close to 100 employees in a manufacturing company. We also use TimeClock Plus, it has been good to us for numerous years.

Talked with both these companies earlier and they're both subscription web-based services. I'm really looking for stand-alone software.

we used time clock plus at work for years and it worked well. with adp now. time clock plus was stand alone software when we used it. install server product and then has a client for workstations.

Why not web-based? I sell software that can handle all of your supplier registration and management needs and/or project workflows.... yes it's web based though.

I used a web based program called Uattend. It did have a monthly subscription fee, but the features were worth it. The ability to control everyones punches and remote punch guys that were out overnight was awesome.
