We hit about a dozen or so docks and two of them held quite a few good solid fish each. It was tough fishing them in the wind, it had me wishing for a second Power Pole.

Accidentally found them while headed up the creek out of the north end of pines 17’ deep
      Most were 9”
We kept 50 solid fish but threw back at least 3 times that.
Fun day with a jig .....
I say that but the truth is it was the crappie nibbles.
They would not touch a jig without a nibble on it

Dang Marty! That's a boat load of black crappie. Dose the Pines have any left?

Hit the slip again this morning. Ended up with 23 keepers. Can't wait to get his boat going so we can get out on Richland Chambers.

Awesome! Wonder why them little black crappie bunch up on the N end when the waters high? We caught a mess of em 2 years ago when the water was high when you had to keep em all! Got a bag of fish sticks off all them little suckers.

We caught a few on the creek bank today in between the heavy rains. 2 large mouths, 1 nice size cat, and 13 crappie, only 4 of them were keepers. Click image for larger version

                Crappie withdrawals

Nobody catching crappie lately or just too busy catching to post about it?

I’ve caught a few here lately, not even targeting them, on small crank baits in 3’-4’ of water. Guess they’re spawning.

I've been catching some on Texoma up in the creeks but that is a long way from you.

Picked up a few on Whitney yesterday afternoon. Wife caught most of them, i was the fish-boy, bait-boy, skinning-boy, and probably the fry-boy.

                          Nice work Razorback!

The fish are biting. And there's hogs to be kilt. Gotta go!

We have had so much going on I just can’t get out to catch any. Responsibilities are a real pain in the rear!

It's always a good feeling to wear them out.

Got in about 4 hours today. Ended up with 6 keepers. It was a nice day to be fishing under the bridge ☔️.
