Mine was born November 3rd two years ago. First year since I have been hunting that I missed opening morning of rifle season. I was able to sneak away on the first Monday however, and killed a nice buck. Plan accordingly! Next one will be due in February at the earliest...

I'm curious how many others besides myself have seriously planned their children's births around hunting season. Like not to be funny. We literally planned conception and birth around deer season

I'll say this, I certainly didn't try as hard during late Jan and Feb as I did the other 10 months out of the year. Both of mine were born in September, so around the Holidays and New Years is when my wife got pregnant. Right after hunting season wound down lol
