What to do an with old gold ring?

I've got a ring (wedding ) that I no longer wear (divorced). It's a medium gold band with 6 diamonds that should be a total of 1/2 carrat. What the best option to get the most money for It? Pawn shop? (I doubt it). Open to ideas.

You probably won't get that much for it. Any dealer is going to buy the metal back at scrap price and will cut you down for the prices of the diamonds.

What about making something else out of it?

Sale it on the open market. You will not get its full value if you sale it to a jeweler or pawn shop.

Me and a friend got into casting jewelry for a little while, so I did it my self. Check with some jewelry stores cause I think some of them do it.
