I broiled fresh Tilefish fillets in butter and added a shot of Herbs & Garlic Old Bay seasoning. Tastes like lobster and it's pure white with the same firm fleshy consistency. It's hard to tell the difference. Caught the Tilefish offshore Wednesday.
Sliced some fresh Wahoo cubes into sushi bites and stacked that on Black Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuit crackers with Philly cheese, sweet onion and a slice of jalapeno. Caught the Wahoo offshore Thursday.
Heated a bowl of Seafood soup, I made yesterday, which has crab meat, crawfish tails, shrimp and cubed fresh Amberjack chunks. Celery, sweet onion, yellow squash, bell pepper and a shot of Old Bay seasoning, a shot of Zatarains Creole & HEB's Coastal Blend spices. Caught the Amberjack offshore Wednesday.
Added a fresh salad with black olives, tomatoes, spinach and lettuce leaves, sliced carrots and a shot of oil and vinegar with fresh cracked pepper.
Glass of fresh ice tea sweetened with Texas honey and squeeze of fresh lemon
Had a fine valentines dinner at BB Butchers Near the theater district in Houston tonight...those large chunks on the salad are bacon! Was awesome meal and great environment.
