    Pool Cost

Throwing around the idea on adding a pool at the house. I haven't talked with any contractors yet, but was wondering if anyone could offer some input on bark park cost.

12' x 24' rectangular pool, max depth 5 or 6 ft with ideally a beach entrance (excluding perimeter concrete or pavers)

Dont have a clue what they cost now, but I will NEVER get another one LOL !!! Kids used the heck out of ours for about 4-5 years. Hardly ever gets used anymore. My advice is save you money and spend it on something else. A simple, shallow water, rectangle will probably run you about 20 grand.

Friends with pools are good friends........

Several other factors in pool cost, but with information provided around 30 - 35k.

Other factors are decking sq footage and type, spa/ hot tub, automation, lighting, water features, etc..

37'x16-18' pool and spa. $72,000 give or take. I've got 8 quotes in the last 2 wks and they are all in line with each other. Hence, my other thread!

Pool are bid by perimeter ft, not depth so make it deep if ya want to, won't move the needle. I don't think your going to be under $45k if you use good equipment and materials.

We have looked into them so recently, I'm in the "NEVER POOL" party.

Before you get a pool, fill a bucket with water and every day take a $20 bill and throw it in the bucket. Then you will know what it is like to have a pool.
