    Tuning Question

Other then having to go to a bow shop.
My peep alignment has always been bad with this compoiund bow. New string, same problem. I do not use string silencers so moving them up or down the string is not a solution, and I have tried moving the D-loop around the string to make the alignment work and that does not stay. I like the bow, and do not want to buy another string, but I always have to twist the peep before each shot, which seems really simple, but it's not not ever in the most open position, which can cause some variance in shot, especially when you stretch a few out.

    Any thoughts?

Put a twist in the string to get it lined back up.

If adjusting d loop doesn't help, it's because your knots aren't good or it's not tight.

Yep. What he said but take it to the bow shop and they will put it in a press to do it.

Fishindude, I was thinking that may be the case with the D-loop, if they were not pulled down tight enough then it allows the string to rotate back, may try to pull them tighter. Nothing wrong with bow shops, but don't have any local, and I really don't like having to take anything to someone else if I can do it myself.
Thanks for the thought, now I can try to remedy my issue.
-SideNote- this is why I started shooting Longbows and recurves. To get away from all the contraption and BS that goes with anything Mechanical. Once I learn to really shoot them like I want, I doubt I will ever pick the Compound up again.

Try putting a pair of needle nose between the string and d loop. Open em and put some force into it.

Tried puling the loop tighter, ended up putting a little superglue on the loop in the right spot. NOW the question is. When my bow is at rest the D-loop is almost facing backwards.?? It shoots fine and I even shot some out to 50 yards in yesterdays wind, but man it looks off.
