From what I've seen, Val Verde will be on the outer edge of the storm. We may or may not get rain from it. I would think if it pushes birds out, it would push them North and West?

Better than last opener when I didn't aim bc there were so few birds

Dove were not flying at my place. But I did manage to shoot a tiny piglet with my pistol as it ran from some brush and we have good looking bucks on camera so the trip was a win.

Anyone kill any dove?

I killed a limit...

but it was near Hondo. I'm supposed to take my lease partner out to the lease next week. He's got liver cancer so it all depends on how he feels whether we go or not. Anxious to see some trail cam pics. I haven't seen anything since May because my camera got knocked over and broken. I took another one out in July, so we'll see what happens.

I killed around 20 birds. There was little groups of them around all our feeders and water holes.

Also killed 4 rattlesnakes and found a hissing snake.

Found some sheds and a dead head. One of the sheds was 50 yards from the front door of my camphouse.
