River Walk Hotel Guidance!

I am getting married next Friday and we are heading to San Antonio for a mini moon and are staying on the River Walk. I am looking at The Omni La Mansion Del Rio, The Hyatt Regency, or The Courtyard by Marriot.

Any experience with these? or other suggestions?

La Mansion is the best of those three IMO.

I stayed at the Drury Inn once. It was pretty nice considering the money I spent and they have a parking garage.

Not sure about the others though

Omni is a great choice. Hilton Palacio is another that is a good stay. Hyatt Regency has a really good location.

The St Anthony is the way to go. We have stayed there a few times.

St Anthony and the Gunter are a block away, but great historical places to stay.

yup. we stay there every year. we love it !

Of the three you are looking at La Mansion. We like older historic hotels and have stayed at the Gunter and St. Anthony's that were both nice. The Menger is another if you like historic.

haha, no... this is more of a fly by the seat of our pants get away. we will do an "official" get away this summer

My wife and I stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott across from St. Mary's Catholic Church.

It was a nice hotel for the money. We were directly between the Aztec Theater and the Empire Theater and directly across from the church, so the view was pretty nice.

Its location in reference to the attractions/bars/restaurants made us walk a little more, but it was nice when on a weekend getaway.

Mokara is real nice. Right across the river from La Mansion

I stayed at the Hyatt last month . Really liked it .
