    BeaverTail Bare Bones Skiff

anyone been on one of these? I found a 2007 used on craigslist and can't much info on the net about them. I'm also trying to see if the asking price is close to book value, but NADA doesn't help much on this make/model/year.

Is this the one that wants 20+grand on a boat motor that has almost 500 hours?

Yes! Seems over priced, but I don't know the market well on these.

I saw it on Microskiff.com 20k for a tiller steering/500 plus hours seems a little steep to me, when there are newer BT selling for just a few thousand more

Is that the same one that's on craigslist out of Rockport?

I think so. I saw one about a month ago on Microskiff that was labeled the same way

However it is a sweet rig

Yea I think you're right. I signed up on there and found it. Compared to others , it's over priced by a lot.

I owned the Beavertail B2 for about 5yrs and loved it. Only reason I got rid of it was because I needed something a little more family friendly. Sight casted a ton of reds over the years though in that skiff.

I was researching a BT several years back before I bought a Ranger Banshee flats skiff. From what I gather, they are a very good shallow water rig
