McCartney Rose (Wild Rose) Best Way To Kill It?

What is the best way to get rid of wild roses? I know it's not a one and done treatment plan. I have been spot spraying Remedy and a Sufactant with mixed results. My experience has been that the spray will kill the roses from the ground up, but then they just seam to grow back with more vigor the next year. I've been using the recommended chemical to water ratios as per the herbicide directions, but I'm not satisfied with the results.

What does the green screen recommend?
